With hands scarred by years of shaping, Laurie has been the backbone of Queensland skate innovation for over two decades. After spending his teenage years chasing the perfect kickflip and experimenting with deck layups in his parents' garage, he launched Southern Deck to blend traditional techniques with modern engineering. Laurie leads all product innovation and quality control, obsessing over every new design so customers can ride with total confidence.
